Surdhwani AGM & Social Evening

The Social Evening will consist of a variety perforances featuring kathak dance, sitar, tabla and vocal performances by the students of the music school of Surdhwani. Mrs Mousumi Roy (see pic), a Life member of Surdhwani will sing light classical songs such as thumris and bhajans as a finale to the evening. Moushumi is a disciple of Sri Sunil Niyogi and Pandit Usha Ranjan Mukhopadhyay of Kolkata. She has an exquisite voice and holds a master degree in Music from the Rabindra Bharati University in Kolkata.
Partha Sarathi Mukherjee (tabla) and Sandip Mishra (sarangi)from Anurekha Ghosh & Company have kindly agreed to accompany Mousumi. Surdhwani gratefully acknowledges their kind help.
Seats are limited. Please book in advance through the box office to avoid disappointment.
Hot buffet will be available from 9.30 to 10.30 pm. Those who want to join the buffet are urged to send £5 per head (Children 16 and under are free) to help with the catering arrangements.
